Kelsey Thomas, M.S., recipient of the Leighton E. Cluff Aging Research Award

Kelsey Thomas, M.S., is a third-year graduate student in CHP.  Her research and training is primarily focused in the area of neuropsychology and is training under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Marsiske.  Kelsey is one of this year’s graduate student winners of the Leighton E. Cluff Aging Research Award.  The $1200 award is sponsored by the College of Medicine and the Center for Gerontological Studies in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.  This award is a means to help increase student interest in aging, through scholarly investigation and research on issues related to older adults and the aging process.  Kelsey will be honored on March 27, 2013 during a reception at Oak Hammock Retirement Community.
