|Open kit. I laid things that are stowed inside (for safe carrying) on the flip-lid. In testing, all the items except those glued into the box itself (see below) are safely hidden from participant view until the exercise involving that item comes up.
||I think the Birmingham phonebook is about the same size as the Gainesville one. Participants are asked to look up a name about halfway in the middle (John F. Nash, Steven T. Nelson) and call out that persons number.

|Notice three “extra” cans are stored in front of pantry (next to stopwatch, which is also stored). These are removed before testing, and are used for the label ingredient reading tasks. The cans are marked Can 1, Can 2, and Can 3.

The medicine bottles have the same basic information at the top and bottom. The top shows it as a bigger “banner”, formatted roughly as follows. The bottom shows it smaller and in two lines, but it is the same information. It is printed in a kind of a “teal”.
